HSSPV | Low Cost Clinic

The Humane Society of the South Platte Valley believes in reducing pet overpopulation in our community.  As part of our mission, we want every animal that leaves our facility via adoption to be spayed or neutered.
We set up our spay/neuter clinic to serve our shelter animals and to provide affordable spay/neuter services for the public.  Please contact us at 303-703-2938 for more information or to schedule a surgical appointment.
Surgical appointments are presently being scheduled for Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.  All surgery patients undergo full anesthesia, which includes pain management during their procedure. In addition, canine patients will be sent home with three days worth of pain medication for their post-operative care. Both cats and dogs will be sent home with an e-collar, to prevent licking of the incision sight.
All of these services except for rabies vaccines are available during our regular hours of service. Rabies vaccines are only available on Tuesdays and Thursdays 11 AM – 12 PM. No appointment necessary, but you are welcome to call the shelter ahead of time to check availability.
